Privacy Policy
Resumen en español
SIXTY no requiere cuenta.

SIXTY is operated by Noles Technology Inc., 8 The Green, Suite R, Dover, DE 19901, United States (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we do and do not collect, both in the SIXTY iOS app and on getsixty.co.

1. The short version
What you write stays on your phone. Your notes, the triggers you describe, your name and your partner’s name are saved only on your device. We cannot read them, and they are never sent to us or anyone else.
The app uses anonymous analytics. To understand how SIXTY is used and improve it, the app sends anonymous usage information to our analytics provider: which screens you visit, the options you choose during setup, and how you use the timer. It never includes anything you type. Details in section 3.
There is no account. No email, no password, no username. The analytics identifier is generated randomly by the app and is not linked to your name or any other identity.
The website is different. If you submit your email address on getsixty.co, we receive it. Details in section 5.
2. Information that stays on your device
The following is stored only on your phone. It is never sent to us or to our analytics provider.
- Anything you write during a timer, and anything written in Write it off
- The trigger you describe when you log an episode, and your repair script
- Your name, and your partner’s name if you enter one
- Your pronouns
- Your history of entries, streaks and progress
- App settings and preferences
This data is removed if you delete the app, or if you use Delete everything in Settings. Because it is stored only on your device, we cannot recover it for you, and it does not transfer to a new phone. You can export it yourself from Settings at any time.
3. Analytics
SIXTY uses PostHog, Inc. to understand how the app is used and whether the timer does what it claims. PostHog receives:
- A randomly generated identifier for your installation of the app
- Which screens you view, and in what order
- Your selections on the setup questions, such as how far the pattern has gone and which behaviours and triggers apply. These are options you choose from a list, never text you type.
- When you start, finish or cancel a timer, and how long it ran
- How intense the urge felt at the start and end of a timer, as a number from 1 to 10
- The outcome you choose after a timer
- Taps on buttons and controls
- Recordings of how you move through the app (session replay)
Recordings block out everything you have written. Your notes, your name, your partner’s name, the triggers you describe and your repair script appear as covered areas and are never captured.
PostHog never receives your name, your email address, or anything you type. Your country is worked out from your IP address when information arrives, and the IP address itself is then discarded rather than stored.

4. Subscriptions
If you subscribe, the transaction is processed by Apple. We never receive your name, payment card details or billing address.
To manage subscription status we use RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier for your device and your purchase status. It does not receive your name, email address, or any of the content described in section 2. RevenueCat’s privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
5. The website
The only email addresses we collect are those submitted through the creator application form on getsixty.co. They are collected through Formspree, Inc. and sent to us, and we use them solely to reply about a creator partnership. We do not sell them, share them, or add them to any other list. You can ask us to delete yours at any time by emailing andre@getsixty.co.
Our host, Netlify, Inc., automatically records standard server information such as IP addresses and browser type as part of delivering the site. We do not use this to identify individuals.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on the site.
6. Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK users)
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are:
- Contract: processing your subscription status so we can provide the paid features you have purchased.
- Legitimate interests: the anonymous analytics described in section 3, so we can understand how the app is used and improve it.
- Consent: replying to your creator application, where you have given us your address for that purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time.
We do not use your information for profiling or advertising.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
A practical note. What you write is only on your device, and the delete and export functions in Settings give you complete control over it. The analytics PostHog holds is tied only to a random identifier, not to you, so we have no way to find which records belong to you in order to access or delete them individually. Where we do hold information that identifies you, which is your email address if you gave us one, email andre@getsixty.co and we will delete it.
California residents. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA and CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You will never be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
8. Data retention
Email addresses submitted through the creator application form are retained until the enquiry is closed or you ask us to delete them. Subscription identifiers are retained by RevenueCat for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting purposes. Analytics and session recordings are retained by PostHog for as long as they are useful for understanding how the app is used, and then deleted.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers, including PostHog, are US companies. If you are outside the United States, your email address if you provide one, and the anonymous analytics described in section 3, will be processed there. Where required, our providers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Age
SIXTY is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, email andre@getsixty.co and we will delete it.
11. Security
Because what you write is held only on your device, its security depends on your device’s own protections. We recommend using a passcode or biometric lock. Information we do hold, meaning email addresses and anonymous analytics, is stored with the providers named above under their security practices.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, note it in the app or on the site. This version, dated 21 September 2026, adds the anonymous analytics described in section 3. Earlier versions of this policy said the app collected nothing. That is no longer the case.
