We built SIXTY to help people break the cycle of jealousy, resist the urge to react, and become someone who can feel something intensely without letting it control what they do.
Between the feeling and the action
SIXTY creates a forced delay so the urge has time to change before you respond.
Slow the body first
Slow-paced breathing around 5.5–6 breaths per minute has been associated with increased heart-rate variability and reduced anxiety/arousal.
Because relief can reinforce the cycle
Research on anxiety and obsessive-compulsive patterns shows that reassurance can reduce distress in the moment while helping maintain repeated reassurance-seeking over time.
How it works
Panic room
A 60 minute space between the feeling and whatever you want to do about it.
Write It Off
Say everything you want to say privately, without sending it to anyone. You can revisit it when the surge is over.
Progress
Track how long your surges take to come down, what triggers repeat, and whether that time is shrinking.
Private by Design
No account. Your entries stay on your device and aren’t sent to us.
Pattern Tracking
Track the patterns you’re leaving behind and what pulls you back.
Reviews from beta testers
“I used sixty during an argument where I was basically seconds away from sending a long text. I hated the timer at first because I wanted to do something immediately. By the end of it I still felt jealous, but I didn’t feel like sending the message anymore. That was kind of the point where I understood the app.”
“I didn’t expect the ‘write it off’ thing to be that useful. I wrote basically the exact message I wanted to send, then read it again an hour later and was genuinely embarrassed by how certain I had been.”
“The biggest thing for me is that it doesn’t try to convince me that everything is okay. Most apps would tell you to calm down or think positively. SIXTY basically just makes me wait until I’m capable of thinking normally again.”
“I’ve only been testing it for a couple of weeks, but I’ve already noticed that the feeling doesn’t last as long as I think it will when I’m in it. Seeing that in my own logs is probably the most useful part.”
