About SIXTY

SIXTY is made by Noles Technology Inc., a small independent studio. It is a one-button app for jealousy urges: a 60-minute timer for the moment you want to check, ask or look, and a count of the days you didn't act. There is no account, no journal, no community, and nothing stored anywhere but your phone.

The 60-minute mechanic comes from response prevention, the principle behind the treatment with the best evidence for compulsive checking and intrusive jealousy: the urge passes on its own if you do not feed it, and each time it passes unfed, the next one is weaker.

SIXTY is a tool, not therapy. If jealousy takes hours of your day, or comes with intrusive thoughts you cannot put down, talk to a therapist. If you are in a relationship where you are being monitored or controlled, the right resource is a person, not an app.
